My Philosophy:
...I wanted to be close to them,
And for them to create the dream
Even before they could dream of it.
...That's what I've done, and what I will do all my life:
Creating for my friends in the world: creating for them and their surroundings.
What does this mean? It means that I create your wardrobe, for every moment of the day and every place you frequent in life: whether it's the Yacht or the Theater, the office or the mountains, a wedding or any other occasion...
I create the garments on your body, and I can enhance your being and your style; my research then never ends, because your style continuously evolves.
In addition to doing it for you, I also do it for everything around you, your surroundings; if you like my philosophy, you will find that you will no longer be moved by the ordinary things around you, because they were not designed and created for you and you alone.
Imagine having someone next to you to think about it for you and make it happen, and think about how much time you can devote to what you like! In each of my creations there is never a label that represents me, but the initials of the Person I created for, drawn by me, and a dedication of my own, arising from the emotions I felt in the moments spent together. Therefore, behind all this is the same research that is behind each of my creations. I am inside the work, I do not need to prove it.
What are they today?
I don't call myself a Stylist; I'm not a salesman, a dealer or a High Fashion entrepreneur.
I have been all of this, of course... and in all of this I have developed a part of knowledge, which changes every day, in a better way... the secret of all this is research. I am a creator of dreams that transcend the very concept of uniqueness through Incomparable style. But the goals that for others represent the culmination of an entire life, I have always interpreted them as intermediate steps on a path that would one day lead me to be something different, something beyond all this.
An idea of what I create:
...It was my dream as a child. I create for pure pleasure, never setting boundaries for myself: marveling at both myself and the person for whom I am creating is the basis of my daily life. I have done everything in my life, and continue to do so, extending my research. Clothes, shoes, fine leather accessories, textiles, perfumes, jewelry, bicycles, musical instruments, operas, paintings, gardens, home furnishings, yachts, aircraft... and so much more! Whatever you can think of. My way of thinking is not subject to limits, what I cannot do I have yet to find: to everything there is always a solution.
How I create it:
The creation is always thought out and followed by me and my staff: drawings, plans, feasibility tests, models, cutting, definitions of materials, colors... it is all done in my company in Florence. The making of the creation is studied and prepared in every part, then it is entrusted to specialized companies or artisans, great Italian professionals affiliated with us for decades. All this is used to achieve a very high level of quality. My staff and I follow the path of creation from beginning to end, and we perform the final testing.
In what way I meet my friend:
...I have always traveled, and I will forever, as a pleasure in life. For me there are no boundaries, there is no particular place where I like to stop: to meet my friends and create for them I travel all over the world. I have been to unthinkable places, even where a war was going on; the world is the lifeblood of my being.
My concept of friendship:
... an ordinary life was not for me. I always wanted all moments to be wonderful: boredom and weariness were not to exist, in my philosophy of life. Even before the people with whom I share my philosophy and life today knew of my existence, I had already decided to live not in one country, but in the whole world. Creating for them and only for them: my friends.
I call them friends, as I have already mentioned, because in my philosophy there is no provision for having clients, otherwise we would have to talk business, discuss the conditions, the timing ... and this would cause me not inconsiderable physical and mental fatigue. After that I should also consider a vacation ... but my way of life does not include a vacation, because every moment of my life should be exciting and wonderful. I want to live according to my philosophy, creating for my friends in the world, otherwise the natural excitement in me, the visions, the pleasure of creating--it all vanishes! The rest is called work, and I was not born for it.
How to choose someone like me:
...Celebrating myself for me is very natural. But not with words, otherwise my philosophy dissolves. My complacency and that of people who look at you with admiration confirming my being. The rest is just talk, which I do not use to convince my friends in the world. Otherwise, the desire to see me again, to love me, to make time for me could not arise.
My goal is to amaze you! Your decision is only the beginning: if you are an unusual person and are also ambitious, both for you and for your surroundings... I can create your dream.
My culture germinates from desire:
...The essence of curiosity was already in me, I always wanted to know the path I had to take to get to the result I had set for myself, and whenever I encountered limits to my vision I overcame them thanks to my youthful impetuosity, capable of fueling the desire to create anything that could be admired. The attraction to navigated people was immense, so I enjoyed my childhood alongside them, calling them "masters of life."
My experience is complicit in my own criticisms of the creations I make: they are criticisms that concern details that the world does not even glimpse, and they are daughters of my continuous search for perfection. To my way of seeing, there will always be something I can refine to make the work even more fascinating. This has always been my way of experience, that experience that will never come to an end, because the imagination of the beyond has flanked my enthusiasm for over forty years.
What I still want from life:
...to leave the world a mark of my passage with the legacy of my creations, with my phrases brushed on them, with books, works...I do not set any limits for myself. That's why I want to excite myself by overcoming ever-new challenges, to put no limit on what I can create.
I want great people to fall in love with me and my works. And I want to have new friends all the time, I want them everywhere, because I need my creations to be present in the four corners of the world. I want to amaze and be amazed, to wonder and marvel along with the friends for whom I create these magic, these works of art that for many represent a forbidden desire.
